The Public Order Emergency Commission resumes public hearings today, with interim Ottawa police captain Steve Bell expected to testify.
Bell could be a veteran of the force and was deputy chief once the "Freedom Convoy" protests swept back Ottawa in late January.
He has been the city's interim chief ever since Peter Slowly resigned in mid-February.
Bell antecedently aforesaid he didn't raise the central to invoke the Emergencies Act.
